Alabama Couple Pleads Guilty to Producing Child Pornography.
Federal prosecutors say a northwest Alabama couple has pleaded guilty to producing child pornography.
Authorities said Thursday that 42-year-old Matthew David Ayers and 34-year-old Patricia Allana Ayers pleaded guilty to exploiting a child who was in their custody.
Prosecutors say the couple produced more than 50 pornographic images of the child between the summer of 2010 and January 2013.
Authorities say Patricia Ayers has pleaded guilty to 53 counts of producing child pornography and Matthew Ayers has pleaded guilty to 25 counts of producing child pornography.
The couple’s sentencing date hasn’t been set.
