Compensation for Family Members of General Motors Victims

Compensation could be in the works for family members of General Motors victims.

The company is offering to pay at least a million dollars to the families.

Anotyher 300,000 dollars would go for each survivng spouce and department. In adition to a sum of money that will be determined by the victims’ earnings potential.

Attorney Jere Beasley, who is suing GM on behalf of victims, has some issues with the plan.

“The automaker is also offering money to drivers, passangers and pedestrians injuried in crashes. At least 13 people died, and many more were injured as result of a faulty ignition switch installed in 2.6 million GM cars.” says Jere Beasley from Beasley Allen Law Firm.
