A Lowndesboro man is dead and a Selma man is on the run from authorities after a shooting Sunday in Selma.

Police say 23 year old Vandarius Hall is wanted for the murder of 29 year old Jermaine Tarver.

Police say Hall opened fire and shot Hall several times at a residence on Town Circle in the Selmont community.

“We think it was an argument over personal property that started it. They were playing cards, an argument ensued and somebody pulled a gun,” said Police Chief John Brock.

Hall is described as 5 foot 11 inches tall, 135 pounds with black hair and brown eyes.

Police say Hall should be considered to be armed and dangerous.

They say anyone with information concerning Hall’s whereabouts call Selma Police at (334) 874-2125 or contact your local law enforcement.
