Two Selma Women Arrested in Connection to Murder Case
From the West Alabama Newsroom–
Two Selma women are behind bars in connection with the city’s latest murder.
Lt. Tory Neely says Jalysa Turner and Kenyatta Wilson helped wanted murder suspect Vandarius Hall avoid capture by authorities by driving him out of the state.
Neely says Hall shot and killed Jermaine Tarver of Lowndesboro at residence in the Selmont community this past Sunday.
He says both women were fully aware that Hall was wanted for the murder when they helped him leave town.
“Both of those females are currently in custody. They’ve been charged with hindering prosecution which is a Class-B felony,” said Neely.
“I just want to let people know, any time that you assist someone that’s wanted by law enforcement in avoiding capture or getting away from the police, basically, we’re going to go after you.”
Hall remains on the run from authorities and is considered to be armed and dangerous.
