Pike County Family Loses Home in Fire
A Pike County family needs the community’s help after losing their home in a fire that is believed to be caused by lightning.
Fortunately no one was home at the time of the fire, but Sherry Johnson and her family lost everything, including 3 yorkie’s. The family says neighbors witnessed lightning striking the home before the fire started. Right now they are hoping to get any help the community can offer. Family members say they are just thankful that Sherry and her family are safe.
“It’s all replaceable, but they are not replaceable and if I have to work until I die to get them back stable, have a good place to live-a decent place to live I’ll do that.”
