Montgomery Housing Market Looking Up
When it comes to residential real estate, it looks like the housing market is picking up. In fact, sellers and buyers are say they are satisfied with the way the market is headed.
Realtor Taylor Jernigan says montgomery is still in a recovery period since the slump after 2007.
But he says things are picking back up and right now the market is getting busy.
“During summer, when school is out, is really during our peak time of year. So you are going to see more signs up this time of year. Our last data is from June and we’re above where we were in May and significantly above where we were this time last year,” said Taylor Jernigan with Keller Williams Realty.
While the market seems to be doing better, Jernigan says it hasn’t fully recovered since going down after 2007.
But he says its definitely a good time to take advantage of the low interest rates.
