Serve Day Volunteers in Troy
Members of the Church of the Highlands participated in volunteer projects in Troy.
Dozens of volunteers spent the morning at Troy’s Christian Love Center. They teamed up to paint the inside of the building, plant flowers, mow and clean. It’s the first time the church has included Troy’s Christian Love Center in their serve day efforts. Volunteers say it’s important to include Troy on their list of projects, making sure to continue filling needs in the area.
“We’re just hear to serve them and to try and help them and their ministry that they do every single day. We’re just doing it one time a year really.”
All Serve Day volunteers in Troy and Montgomery ended their day of giving back with celebration block party in downtown Montgomery, Saturday afternoon.
