A Hot Week Ahead
More isolated to scattered showers and thunderstorms are possible tomorrow as temperatures again reach the mid-90s across the river region. After Sunday, rain chances will decline for much of the work week. For Monday through Thursday, the chance for an afternoon shower will only be about 20%. Meanwhile, the lower rain chances will set the stage for temperatures to reach the upper 90s by the middle of the work week. For Tuesday and Wednesday, we will top out at 97 in Montgomery. On Thursday I think we will reach 98. Temperatures will moderate a bit as we head into the weekend, but rain chances will only slightly increase. For tonight, expect an overnight low of 74 as storms diminish and skies clear. Tomorrow we will be feeling the heat and humidity again with an afternoon high of 95, with a chance for some scattered afternoon thunderstorms.
