Montgomery Middle School Placed on Brief Lockdown
An anonymous tip led to a brief lockdown at a Montgomery middle school on Tuesday.
Johnnie Carr Middle School received an anonymous tip that a female student might have had a weapon.
A spokesperson for Montgomery Public Schools told Alabama News Network that out of an abundance of caution, the administrator activated a lockdown.
Police were notified. After investigating and not finding any weapons, the lockdown was lifted.
