Elmore Co. Woman Pleads Guilty to Child Abuse Charges

An Elmore County woman has pleaded guilty to child abuse charges, after her son was found injured in the backseat of a car in Florida.

28-year- old Hallee Mcleod pleaded guilty to charges of aggravated child abuse. She was arrested last year when her 4-year-old son was found unresponsive in the back seat of her boyfriend’s car in Panama City.

The boy was suffering from severe physical injuries.

McLeod’s boyfriend was also charged in the case.
