Help Needed to Solve Murder Cases

Five cold blooded murders. Five much loved victims. And still no answers.

Roger Hails, Charlie McCord, Toney Hooks, Rahulkamar Patel, and Demetrius McGhee were all gunned down in 2014. Their families are still waiting for justice.

October 14,2014, 36 yr old Charlie McCord was shot in his barber shop on Mt. Meigs Road on his son’s 17th birthday. And his small children are still asking why?

“The say, ‘Auntie, the man who killed my dad was the boogey man.’ How do you put a face on the ‘boogey man’ when you don’t know who it is for a child? So we need you all to help us to put a face on the boogey man so these kids can have some closure,” said McCord’s sister, Furlesia Bell.

On July 13, 2014, 26 yr old Rahulkamar Patel was shot at a package store where he was working on Troy Highway.

“He was very hard working, loving. We are still missing him. His parents’ only son. They are still devastated about this bad news 2 years ago. We still want to know why someone came to the store and killed him,” said Patel’s uncle, Praful Patel.

An $11,000 reward is offered to anyone who can help solve these crimes and make an arrest in any of the five cases.
But they say they need your help to do it.
“Now it is up to you, citizens of Montgomery, if you know something about one of these crimes, speak up, speak out, pick up the phone, notify us. The 11 thousand dollars is the incentive, but aside from that, it’s the right thing to do,” said DA Daryl Bailey.

If you have any information, call Crimestoppers at (334) 215-STOP.
