Auburn Fans Grade the Team After Last Game

The Auburn Tigers football team is in downtown Montgomery tonight to spend the night before their second game of the season.
They won their last game against Arkansas and we’re asking fans to grade the team.
Auburn’s debut game against Arkansas still has fans talking…and they’re saying good things. We asked what grade you would give the tigers after their first game of the season.
“Definitely an A plus,” says Ben Skala.
“I would give them an A,” says Kathy Campbell.
“B+” says Walker Morgran.
After an hour and a half rain delay, the tigers came back strong in the second half.
“All we needed to do was get the first half down,” Morgan explains. “We came back out at the second half and just beat them all.”
“I thought the second half was better of course,” adds Campbell.
Most of the fans we spoke with at Tiger Trek in downtown Montgomery say they believe Auburn will have another successful season.
“Undefeated,” Skala says. “We’re going to win it all this year.”
Even the youngest fans, like 6-year-old Hayden Jackson, say the team looks strong.
“I thought about how they did very well and they’re playing really good and hard,” she says.
Montgomery’s own Jeremy Johnson started in last week’s game and was undoubtedly the star of tonight’s Tiger Trek. He posed with fans for pictures and signed autographs. Even some Alabama fans tell us they believe the tigers could be a threat again this season.
“They’re good,” says tide fan Gary Bowens. “They can still move the ball, which is a problem for the Crimson Tide defense.”
Auburn plays San Jose State tomorrow at Jordan Hare. Both teams looking to improve to 2 and 0. Auburn is favored to win.
