Montgomery County Library System Could See Cutbacks
Cutbacks are coming to the Montgomery county library system.
The cuts are because of funding cuts and an increase to digital materials. Starting in October, most library branches will be closed on weekends.
All branches will start closing earlier during the week. Library system officials say the number of library locations will likely decrease in the future.
Montgomery County officials say the Pine Level branch will be closed for the next fiscal year.
