Americans Waistlines Growing
American waistlines are getting bigger and bigger. Â
Researchers at the CDC looked at data from more than 32,000 people. Â
They found the average waist circumference increased from 37.6 inches to 38.8 inches over the past 15 years. Â
In addition to overeating and lack of exercise, doctors say sleep deprivation and certain medications can contribute to the problem.
