LAMP Moving into New Building

Montgomery school officials have announced plans to move Loveless Academic Magnet Program – also known as LAMP –  into a new facility.

In a letter to LAMP parents, superintendent Margaret Allen says the school system should have the funds needed for a new facility by 2016.

In the meantime, students will move into the former Houston Hill school building around Thanksgiving while the current LAMP building is repaired.

You may remember the school system had plans to move LAMP into the Parisian building at the old Montgomery Mall, but that project fell through because of funding issues.
