MIT Looking to Combat “Superbugs”
Researchers at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology say they’re turning to a powerful new weapon to fight superbugs.
Engineers have found a way to identify different combinations of genes that can make deadly bacteria more susceptible to antibiotics.
They’re hoping it can lead to treatments for drug-resistant bugs that kill at least 23,000 people a year.
