Family Therapies More Effective Treating Anorexia

When it comes to treating teens for the eating-disorder, anorexia, family based therapies are twice as effective as individual therapy.

That’s according to researchers at Stanford University.  

Their study, which looked at 164 teens, found that parents could learn to help their anorexic children get to a healthy weight, and eat normally again.
