Taste of the River Region
   About 40 vendors lined the walls of Montgomery’s Renaissance Hotel for this year’s “Taste of the River Region.” Vendors from Prattville, Wetumpka and Montgomery showcased their favorites meals, desserts, and drinks.

    The Alabama Restaurant Association hosted the event along with the Junior League of Montgomery. Local businesses say the event gives them a chance to reach out to different groups of people and hopefully, attract new customers. The event raises thousands of dollars for charities in the area.
