Two People Killed in Covington County Wreck

Alabama State Troopers say two people were killed this morning in a wreck in Covington County.

Investigators say Irving Ladon Bullard, 82, and Mary Ellen Bullard, 77, both of Opp, were killed when their pickup truck collided with a tractor-trailer truck.

State troopers say the Bullards were pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the tractor-trailer truck was not injured.

The wreck happened at the intersection of Alabama 299 (U.S. 84 Bypass) and Covington County 85 in the Horn Hill community.
