Police arrest suspect in fatal Millbrook shooting

Millbrook police officers responded to a report of a subject shot in the 1100 block of Jackson Lake Road around 6:20 p.m. Sunday.
They found a 25-year-old black male from Montgomery lying in the yard suffering from life-threatening gunshot wounds to the chest.
The victim was flown to Baptist South by Haynes Air Ambulance, where he later died.
Witnesses told police they saw the shooter flee the area on foot after shooting the victim.
While police were searching the scene in Millbrook, the suspect, 25-year-old Jadrian Long from Elmore, turned himself in to Montgomery police.
Long is being charged with murder.
He is being held in the Elmore County Jail without bond.
According to witnesses at the scene, the victim and offender have a history of ongoing issues between them.
