Senior Citizen Hall of Fame Class of 2014

 

Seniors from all across Alabama received the honor today at a special ceremony. Honors were given out for several different categories, including awards for couples who were celebrating 65 years or more of marriage, as well as for seniors who were 100 years old or older.

 

Chairman of the Senior Citizens Hall of Fame, Warner Floyd said the event is a huge honor. “It means recognition of people that do the most for seniors,” he said. “They’re not doing it for fame, but they’re doing it to help seniors have a better quality of life.”

 

This is the 31st class for the Senior Citizen Hall of Fame.
