Storms Possible Overnight
Another round of strong to severe storms will work across the region tonight into Tuesday morning. This event will produce some much needed rain with 2 to 4 inch rainfall possible. Our main concern is the severe storm threat overnight. Some of the storms moving through will be capable of damaging winds and possibly a tornado. This threat will remain through at least 6AM Tuesday. Make sure you have a way of receiving severe weather warnings while your asleep. Improving weather conditions are on the way for late morning Tuesday into the afternoon hours. Sunny and dry weather will hover around through Wednesday afternoon. We get another shot at a few showers Thursday but we don’t see much to this system with rain activity. Once the showers push east, the door opens for the coldest air of the season to spill into the area. We are headed into the deep freeze for a couple of mornings. Looks like mid 20s both Friday and Saturday morning. Brrrrr!
