Manhunt Temporarily Suspened

MONTGOMERY, Ala. – Alabama Department of Public Safety officials say the search for a man who fled a state trooper during a traffic stop has been temporarily suspended.
Sgt. Steve Jarrett says 25-year-old Christopher Adam Miller of Millbrook was stopped for a traffic violation Wednesday morning and fled on foot after the trooper found drugs in his car.
Authorities say troopers later learned that Miller has outstanding felony warrants in Texas and misdemeanor warrants in Prattville and Tennessee.
Jarrett says authorities from the Alabama Department of Corrections, the Alabama Bureau of Investigations, Millbrook police, Prattville police and the Autauga County Sheriff’s Office searched for Miller, who remains at large.
Jarrett says Miller isn’t considered a threat to the community but will now face additional charges.
