Health Officials Looking Into Montgomery Medical Situation
A news conference was held Friday afternoon around 2:30PM regarding the Zelda Road medical situation..
An 86-year-old Nigerian women has Ebola-like symptoms and was taken to Baptist South Hospital.
The patient will enter a dedicated unit away from other patients. She will be completely protected.
The patient is being tested for both the flu and malaria. It could take up to two days to know whether she has Ebola. Officials say the chance of the patient having Ebola is very low. She has not traveled to West Africa.
