Firefighters from all over the world are in the Capital City for the Firefighter Combat Challenge.

The firefighters from across the region came to compete in a series of strength and endurance tests. It helps show people just how tough the job really is.
In full gear, competitors race head-to-head as they simulate physical demands of real-life firefighting by performing different tasks.
About 75 firefighters competed in Montgomery’s event. The national challenge is next week in Texas.
