Remembering Former Alabama Education Association Treasurer Paul Hubbert
Former Alabama Education Association Treasurer Paul Hubbert was Remembered today at a memorial service at the Montgomery Performing Arts Center.
Hubbert died last Tuesday after complications from a fall.
Hubbert became Executive Secretary of the aea back in 1969 and was also the Democratic nomination for Governor in 1990.
Hubbert retired from the AEA at the end of 2011,saying he no longer had the physical strength to do the job.
Hubbert was 78 -years-old.
