Man Struck by Train in Millbrook Identified

Millbrook police have identified the man killed after being hit by a train last Friday.

He’s been identified as 54-year-old Calvin Neal Ray of Letohatchee.

The accident happened Friday near Alabama River Parkway and Jackson Lake Road.

Police say the engineer sounded his horn but the victim didn’t move, throwing him about 20 feet from the tracks.

Millbrook Police say they are investigating how Ray ended up in that location.
They are asking anyone with information on his whereabouts prior to the accident to call them at (334) 285-6832.
