Man sentenced to life in brutal beating
Rodney White has been sentenced to two consecutive life sentences for the brutal beating and robbery of a Montgomery man in 2013. One was given for attempted murder and one for robbery. The vicious attack happened while John Anderson made a routine stop at the Raceway on the corner of Mobile Highway and West Boulevard. Surveillance video showed White walk up to Anderson and attack, even slamming him into the ground. Anderson, suffered brain, head and neck injuries, among several other injuries and remains in a coma. The two men did not know each other.
