A Few Showers Overnight

A cold front is moving into the area tonight. Our sky clouds up and we get a few passing showers. We don’t expect anything heavy with rainfall amounts under a half an inch.  The frontal boundary clears the region and the sky starts clearing out Thursday morning. Gusty northwesterly winds will usher in much cooler air throughout the day. Clear and colder conditions settle in for several days.  Daytime highs hover in the mid to upper 50s while overnight temps drop into the lower to mid 30s.  It will be an extended period of dry weather conditions. We do see a slight chance for showers next Wednesday but nothing heavy with this system either. It basically looks like we are back into a temperature setup typical for this time of the year. We have lots more winter to go before we can put away the heavy coats.
