Brief Cool Down!
It’s Groundhog Day! Phil saw is shadow, suggesting six more weeks of winter. We think the weather around here will remain fairly normal. Only twenty-six more days until meteorological spring. In the mean time, a cold front is working its way through the region tonight. We could see a few passing showers but nothing heavy with this round. You notice a mostly cloudy and cooler Friday but sunshine returns over the weekend. We start it out cold with temps in the mid 30s Saturday morning. Temperatures do rebound into the 60s for afternoon highs both days. A shower or two is possible but we think most spots stay dry Sunday. A nicely little warm up kicks in early next week. Looks like low to mid 70s are back Monday into Tuesday. Next decent chance for rain returns Tuesday night into Wednesday. A return to cold conditions late next week.
