Gas Prices are Taking a Downward Turn

If you’re planning any big trips this holiday travel season, there’s some good news.

Gas prices are taking a downward turn, statewide the average is around $2.90 a gallon.

It’s even lower in some areas in our region, with station posting prices as low as $2.75.

Just a month ago, the average was $3.13 a gallon and a year ago, it was $3.20.

According to Triple-A, you’re paying the least for gas right now than you have in about three years.

Some drivers we spoke to say, it doesn’t matter much to them because gas is something they have to buy.

But others told us, every penny they save is worth it.
