Voters will hit the polls tomorrow to elect, among other offices, the next governor.

Current Governor Robert Bentley made a trip around the state in an effort to get more people out to vote.

He stopped in Montgomery after starting his day in Huntsville.

Bentley currently leads in the polls over his democratic challenger Parker Griffith.

He says Alabama has come a long way since he was first elected governor.

“It could not possibly be any worse when we took over in 2010. So we know that those problems can be solved and we’re going to work on that. We know they’re going to be solved.” say Governor Bentley.

Polls open tomorrow at 7 a-m and will stay open until 7 pm.
