Showers In The Area Tonight; Near Normal Temps Return Monday
A few showers are possible tonight ahead of an approaching cold front. Skies remain Mostly cloudy through midnight tonight, with temperatures remaining in the 60s through that time. The cold front moves through in the late night to Monday morning time frame. Looks like temperatures will be in the upper 40s for the Monday morning commute, so prepare accordingly.
Cooler air remains in place Monday and Tuesday, highs each day will be in the mid 60s. Monday will be dry and Sunny. Plenty of sun expected Tuesday, but clouds gradually build in late in the day. Light rainfall is possible just before midnight Tuesday night. Otherwise, the bulk of the rainfall holds off until Wednesday. Looks like central and south Alabama will get a good soaking Wednesday, with .5″ to 1″ of rain possible.
The rain clears out on Thursday. Overnight lows for Wednesday and Thursday night will be chilly, in the mid 30s. Friday through the weekend look terrific right now, with sunny skies expected each day. Friday’s highs will be in the lower 60s, followed by upper 60s on Saturday and lower 70s Sunday. Rain could return to the area next Monday.
