Lt. Governor Kay Ivey Re-Elected

Lt. Governor Kay Ivey celebrated her win at Baumhowers in downtown Montgomery with all of her supporters. While she’s serving another term in office, she says there’s still a lot of work left to be done.

Four more years for Lt. Governor Kay Ivey.

She celebrated with dozens of her supporters, receiving thank you hugs and phone calls, but she says the real thank you goes  to all of her supporters.

“Thank you for caring about your government, and those that you elect and thank you for selecting those people who will give results, not just promises and rhetoric, thank you for believing in us,” Said Ivey.

Supporter, and Airforce Colonel, Joe Panza, was thrilled to hear about the win.

She’s so passionate about what she does. She’s so genuine and sincere about making Alabama the best that it can be,” Said Panza.

But to make Alabama the best that it can be, Lt. Governor Ivey says there’s still work left to do in the state.

“In addition to creating jobs, we’ve got to pay attention to the general and find some way to take care of the huge hole that’s there because of the ever-growing Medicaid and corrections problem,” Said Ivey.

She says she plans to sleep in in the morning and then return back to work Wednesday afternoon.
