Elmore Co Student Struck by Vehicle

This morning, Nov. 5, just before 7 a.m., a child was struck by a vehicle at the intersection of Sunset Drive and Deatsville Highway in Elmore County.
The child was transported from the scene by Haynes medical helicopter to Children’s Hospital with what appeared to be life-threatening injuries.
Nothing further is available for release at this time as Alabama State Troopers continue to investigate.
