Hundreds of High School and Middle School Students Participate in Trojan Art Day
Hundreds of high school and middle school students converged on the Troy University campus for Trojan Art Day.
Students were able to be part of workshops and demonstrations that are led by Troy University’s Department of Art and Design. They are also able to compete for scholarships with an art competition, sponsored by the Alabama State Council of the Arts. This is the 4th year of Trojan Art day. Coordinators say the day introduces students to new techniques.
“We’ve grown from a hundred our first year to over four hundred this year. They come back with anticipation that’s it’s going to be good and maybe take some ideas home to their home schools.
