Alabama Schools Announce Closings Due to Possible Severe Weather

Due to possible severe weather across the state, some Alabama schools have announced school closings for Monday, April 3, 2017.

The following schools are listed below:

 

TROY CITY SCHOOLS: Closed

BUTLER COUNTY SCHOOLS: Closed

CRENSHAW COUNTY SCHOOLS: Closed

LOWNDES COUNTY SCHOOLS: Closed

PERRY COUNTY SCHOOLS: Closed

HOOPER ACADEMY: Closed

HOOPER EARLY LEARNING CENTER: Closed

PIKE LIBERAL ARTS: Closed

LUVERNE HEAD START CENTER: Closed

DALLAS COUNTY SCHOOLS: Closed

SELMA CITY SCHOOLS: Closed

PIKE ROAD SCHOOLS: Closed

MARENGO COUNTY SCHOOLS: Closed

The Rock School-Montgomery: Closed

 

All Montgomery YMCA After School programs and First Class Pre-K programs follow the Montgomery Public School closings and will be closed for today. East YMCA Preschool will be open. Because Elmore County Schools are remaining open, all Grandview YMCA and Wetumpka YMCA after school programs will be open as normal unless severe weather warrants changes. All YMCA centers (as well as child watch within our centers) will be open as normal. We will continue to monitor the weather and update our communication channels if needed.
