Montgomery Shoppers Take Advantage of Black Friday Deals

An estimated 140 million Americans were expected to shop from Thanksgiving through the weekend. And Montgomery was no exception to Black Friday shopping.Â
Â
Places like Target opened their doors at 6 p.m. on Thanksgiving, that’s two hours earlier than last year.
Â
JC Penney at the Eastdale Mall said they had about three hundred people waiting to get in on Thanksgiving and then a steady flow of customers the rest of the day. Â
Â
Customers say that made for shorter lines and not as busy of stores today. Some of the popular items this year were iPad mini, Beats by Dre and anything to do with the movie Frozen.Â
