Man Dies in Macon County Crash
A Notasulga man is dead after a car accident in Macon County.
40 – year- old Eric Brooks was killed after his SUV left Macon County 37 about three miles southwest of Tuskegee.
Brooks was not wearing a seatbelt at the time.
He was ejected from the car and was pronounced dead on the scene.
According to state troopers, before the crash Brooks had refused to pull over when a trooper attempted to stop him for a traffic violation.
The crash is still under investigation.
