State Troopers Release Preliminary Elmore Co Accident Report

State troopers release a preliminary report on the Elmore county crash that killed three 16-year-olds and an Elmore County Sheriff’s deputy.
According to the report, the teens’ car, driven by Austin Augustine, was going at a high rate of speed when it came to a hillcrest on Firetower Road.
Troopers say the car then crossed into the wrong side of the road, hitting Deputy James Bart Hart head-on and causing him to crash into the tree line.
Augustine, Hoyt Hardin, and Dylan Bieiber were pronounced dead on the scene.
Hart died at a nearby hospital.
