A murder in Pike County remains unsolved, even though police say dozens witnessed the crime.
23-year-old Pryzim Ransom was shot and killed outside of a barber shop in Brundidge the day after Christmas. Police say it started as an argument inside with around 50 people, moved outside and escalated to shots fired.
Now CrimeStoppers, the state attorney general’s office and the city of Brundidge are offering a combined $11,000 reward. Investigators say they have strong suspects and hope the money will make someone come forward.
Charles Beasley, Sergeant, Investigator Brundidge PD said, “That person that fired that fatal shot know that sooner or later he’ll wake up one morning and the Brundidge Police Department is going to be standing there. Whether it be Montgomery or Timbuktu he’s going to jail and that’s serious.”
