1 Dead, 2 Injured in Brundidge Shooting

Brundidge Police Chief Moses Davenport confirms that a 23-year-old was killed and two others were injured in a late night shooting in Brundidge. 

 
Chief Davenport says killed 23-year-old Pryzim Ransom from Brundidge was killed at a barber shop near Veterans Boulevard, Henderson Street and Galloway Road. It happened just after midnight Friday. 
 
Chief Davenport says it started as a verbal fight and escalated to gunfire. Two others were injured, one victim has non-life threatening injuries, but the second is in critical condition at Baptist South.
 
According to police, no arrests have been made yet, but the investigation is on going.
 
Brundidge Police, Pike County Sheriff’s Office, the District Attorney, and Troy Police are all involved with the investigation.
