Montgomery Police Officer Involved in Accident

A Montgomery police officer is recovering after being involved in an accident this evening. Details are limited, but police say the accident happened in the 3800 block of Atlanta Highway at approximately 6:00pm.
The officer was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
