Musicians Gathered for Huntingdon College Annual Symphonic Honor Band
More than 120 high school musicians flocked to Montgomery this weekend for the annual Huntingdon College Symphonic Honor Band.
High school students from about 90 different high schools across the state gathered together to play in the honor band.
Brass, woodwind, and percussion musicians rehearsed for seven hours yesterday in preparations for today’s concert.
About 160 students applied to be in the symphonic band.
It wasn’t all hard work, though, as participants got to meet kids just like themselves from all across the state.
This was the fourth year Huntingdon has hosted the symphonic honor band.
