It started on the steps of City Hall with the mayor and the cast and crew from the movie Selma.
Then the cast and crew joined by thousands marched from City Hall to the Edmund Pettus bridge.
And that’s where Common and singer John Legend performed The Oscar-nominated song, Glory
For “Selma” star and producer Oprah it’s one of the most memorable moments of all.
Selma is nominated for two oscars. One for best picture and one for the song “glory” by Common and John Legend.
