A Montgomery home that was destroyed in search of convicted murderer Desmonte Leonard has been restored.

A federal judge has dismissed a suit that Yakemi Ward filed against Montgomery police, federal officers and her insurance company.

You looking at video back in 20-12 when officers searched the house they thought  Desmonte Leonard was hiding out in.

When police arrived, a heat sensor indicated someone might be in the attic.

They punched numerous holes in the ceiling and damaged the heating system, but found no one.

Earlier this week a judge sentence Leonard to life without parole.
