River City Church Holds Fourth Sunday Outreach Program
River City Church opened its doors for its Fourth Saturday outreach program. The church holds this event every fourth Saturday of the month, and offers free health screenings, haircuts, and food to take home. The church also opened their thrift store and food pantry, with the proceeds going to support local charities. Nursing students from South University were also on hand to perform blood pressure and blood glucose tests.Â

“We’re trying to…keep people in the River Region healthy,” says Tony McCullough, pastor of River City Church. “To help them live sustainable lives, and then plug them into…the work that God is doing in their lives.”
