Authorities in Butler County Searching for Missing Man
89-year-old Cecil Betterton has been missing since Saturday evening
Authorities in Butler County are looking for a missing man and they’re asking for the public’s assistance in locating him.
Law enforcement identifies him as 89-year-old Cecil Betterton. They say he could be suffering from a condition that may impair his judgement.
According to Butler County Sheriff Kenny Harden, Betterton was last seen around 6 p.m. Saturday night. Harden says Betteron was driving a 2001 Chevy Silverado. He was last seen wearing a blue shirt and pants traveling west on Highway 106 in Georgiana, Alabama. The truck is silver with an Alabama tag #10AN816.
