Electric Charging Stations Now in Greenville for Tesla Car Owners
Tesla electric car owners have a place to stop and charge their cars in South Alabama. The owner of the Hampton Inn in Greenville was approached by Electric car company Tesla to have electric car chargers installed on its property. The Hotel is one of only two locations in the state with the chargers. The average time for a car to charge is usually eight hours, but the newly installed chargers cut charging time down to only 30 minutes. Tesla car owners say having the chargers in Greenville is very helpful, especially when traveling through or near the area. “if you got long trips it makes it a lot easier going from place to place, or gets us a little further up to where we can make a round trip if we’re going to a place that doesn’t have a charge and get back to this one,” said Jimmy Brooks, a Tesla car owner. Tesla also has chargers in the Auburn Area.
