Prattville Holds Annual Mardi Gras Parade
Speaking of Mardi Gras, the city of Prattville is ready to let the good times roll.
The city of Prattville held its eleventh annual Mardi Gras parade Saturday.
It kicked off at the Autauga County Courthouse and rolled through downtown, tossing candy and mardi gras beads to dozens of people.
“Getting the beads and candy from the parade, its a family event, its fun, fun to get out in a small town and see everything shown off in the parade,” said Shannon Dunn, who went to the parade.
Before the parade, there were arts and crafts, music, and food for the parade goers to enjoy.
